Westie Club MI – Home
Biscuit Sayles came to us from our cousin in Ohio, he wasn’t getting along with the new baby in the house and needed to live in a home without children. Luckily we could take him! We love him very much!

CMO WESTIES NEEDED!!!!
I have recent information from our researchers in Switzerland on CMO. The group from Berne has combined efforts with researchers in Helsinki, Finland and have identified CMO to chromosome 5. They have narrowed it to an area of 10 genes. Not surprising, it is a complex sequence. Each additional case of CMO with normal relatives could be the case that would help unravel the mystery. If you are aware of a CMO affected dog that has yet contributed blood to the study, please contact me. The researchers from Berne, Helsinki and Dr. Pat will be presenting their research at the upcoming meeting on dog and cat genomics meeting in Sweden.
